Nicklas Schmidt is featured as festival composer at Rudersdal Sommerkoncerter in Greater Copenhagen Area August 2019. 6 chamber works of his are being performed during the festival, including the Danish premiere of a new solo cello piece “Fluctuation 13”. Bjarke Mogensen & Prinsens Musikkorps

The young rising accordeon star Bjarke Mogensen has commissioned a new work to be premiered 1st June 2012 where Mogensen features as soloist with the Prinsens Musikkorps Brass Ensemble. The new “Concertino” for accordeon and brass is one of a few of its kind written for this rare constellation of instruments. The ensemble will be lead by conductor Jesper Juul. Choir Music Premiere in May Concerts The International award winning Hymnia Chamber Choir will perform in two concerts entirely dedicated to choral music by Nicklas Schmidt.
